President Muhammadu Buhari speech to Christian about the birth of Jesus Christ


”I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially
our Christian brothers and sisters, on
the joyous occasion of this year’s
Christmas. On this occasion of the
commemoration of the birth of Jesus
Christ, let us all rededicate ourselves to
the virtues of peace, love, honesty,
justice, equity, piety, humility and
service to others which he taught.
I particularly urge you all to remember
victims of terrorism and insurgency in
the country, especially Internally
Displaced Persons (IDPs). The Federal
Government will continue to collaborate
with state governments and other
stakeholders to ease the harsh
conditions in IDP camps, while the

of measures to restore hope to our

must be kept. We are determined to
bring about tangible changes in the lives
of our people.
We must never again allow any group to
hold the nation to ransom under
whatever guise.
Let us also not allow
current socio-economic and security
challenges to dampen our expectations
for a better Nigeria.
I wish all Nigerians a Merry Christmas.

Snapchat has apologized to Rihanna and Chris Brown

Snapchat has apologized for approving and promoting an ad which asked users if they “would rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown.” The ad, featured on the California-based social media platform, appeared to reference Brown’s conviction for assaulting Rihanna in his car after a pre-Grammy party in 2009. Rihanna, pictured posing with long red locks, is positioned next to the phrase “Slap Rihanna.” Brown is positioned directly under her, appearing to dance, next to the phrase “Punch Chris Brown.” Shocked Snapchat users took to other social media platforms to express their disgust and question why the ad was created in the first place. A Snapchat spokesperson told Sun Online: “The ad was reviewed and approved in error as it violates our advertising guidelines. We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. NASA captures Jupiter like never before

Aclose-up view of Jupiter’s southern hemisphere A NASA spacecraft has captured the best views of Jupiter yet, revealing turbulent storms in the north pole. Jupiter’s northern polar region is stormier than expected and appears bluer than the rest of the planet, said mission chief scientist Scott Bolton of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. “This image is hardly recognizable as Jupiter,” he said in a statement. NASA on Friday released a batch of close-up pictures  taken by the Juno spacecraft last week when it flew within 2,500 miles of Jupiter’s dense cloud tops. During the rendezvous that took Juno from pole to pole, the solar-powered spacecraft turned on its camera and instruments to collect data. The first glimpse of Jupiter’s poles came in 1974 when Pioneer 11 flew by on its way to Saturn. The detailed pictures taken by Juno look “like nothing we have seen or imagined before,” Bolton said.
