R. Kelly has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sex abuse involving four victims — including minors — in his native Chicago, according to reports Friday, citing court records. The R&B star was hit with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sex abuse in Cook County on Friday. The charges involve incidents from 1998 to 2010, the news outlet reported, noting that at least three of the alleged victims are minors. Prosecutors say the minors were between 13 and 16 years old. According to TMZ, nine of the 10 counts against 52-year-old Kelly, whose real name is Robert Kelly, involve the young teens. One of the victims is the subject of four different counts, and there are a total of four alleged victims. A newly uncovered photo shows the Westchester woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase out on the town with her alleged killer months before the attack. The photo from Feb. 8, 2018, shows Valerie Reyes and her suspected killer, Javier da Silva Rojas, in a Mt. Vernon CVS. Reyes strikes an innocent pose while Rojas grimaces at the camera in the snap, which Rojas posted to his Instagram. Cops say Rojas killed Reyes, bound her and stuffed her body in a suitcase before dumping the baggage in tony Greenwich, Connecticut. The body was discovered on Feb. 5, and Rojas, a Queens resident, was busted Monday because he tried to use Reyes’ ATM card to withdraw $1,000 from her bank account on Jan. 30. Rojas has admitted hiding the corpse, but claims Reyes died accidentally while they were having sex on Jan. 29. Reyes’ mother said in court papers that Rojas and her daughter broke up a year ago — around the time the photo was taken.

Snapchat has apologized for approving and promoting an ad which asked users if they “would rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown.” The ad, featured on the California-based social media platform, appeared to reference Brown’s conviction for assaulting Rihanna in his car after a pre-Grammy party in 2009. Rihanna, pictured posing with long red locks, is positioned next to the phrase “Slap Rihanna.” Brown is positioned directly under her, appearing to dance, next to the phrase “Punch Chris Brown.” Shocked Snapchat users took to other social media platforms to express their disgust and question why the ad was created in the first place. One crafty female from China has performed the ultimate hustle to raise funds for a home deposit. The scheme involved a lady convincing her 20 boyfriends to buy her 20 new iPhone 7s, which she then sold for enough money to put a down payment on a house. Using the pseudonym Proud Qiaoba, a blogger gave a detailed description on how the hustle was performed by a colleague of hers, dubbed Xiaoli. While the legitimacy of the story might sound dubious at first, the BBC reported it has been able authenticate the claims. Singer’s Elliott Associates bought an 11 percent stake in the hunting supply chain last October and pressed the Springfield, Mo., chain to pursue strategic alternatives — including a sale. On Monday, the 55-year old chain said it has agreed to a $65.50 per share takeover offer from rival Bass Pro Shops. It was reported on July 14 that Bass Pro was the likely buyer after other suitors dropped out of the process. At that time, Cabela’s shares rose 2.7 percent, to $54.08. The $5.5 billion deal — a 19.2 percent premium to Cabela’s Friday close — will nearly double the size of Bass Pro Shops. Shares of Cabela’s jumped nearly 15 percent to $62.84 in early Monday trading. Cabela’s has struggled with declining sales of apparel and footwear and has reported same-store sales growth in only one quarter in more than three years. Wine drinkers who stop and smell the rosé may be more likely to stave off Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. A study recently published in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience found that master sommeliers — who have acute senses of smell — also have larger, thicker parts of the brain that are vulnerable to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s than non-wine experts. “Though we don’t know for sure, there is a possibility that when it comes to the brain, thicker is better,” Dr. Sarah Banks, head of neuropsychology at the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas and author of the study, tells The Post. “It seems like if you have more brain in those areas, it’ll take longer to feel the effects of the disease, but it’s speculation.” Banks performed brain scans on 13 master sommeliers and 13 non-wine experts while they smelled wine and fruits and found that the former group had a larger brain reaction to smell — specifically in the areas of the brain that store memory. New Jersey has suspended a dentist whose practice has been linked to more than a dozen infections that caused one death and required patients to undergo heart surgeries. John Vecchione signed an agreement this week to suspend his practice until a hearing is held in early October. A report released last month by the state Department of Health uncovered 15 patients who developed enterococcal endocarditis after undergoing oral surgery using intravenous sedation at Vecchione’s practice from December 2012 to August 2014. Twelve patients required heart surgery, and one patient died from complications. Vecchione agreed to improve his procedures after inspectors visited his practice in late 2014 and early 2015. But inspectors who visited his office in Budd Lake, Morris County, last month said the problems persist.

Jupiter’s northern polar region is stormier than expected and appears bluer than the rest of the planet, said mission chief scientist Scott Bolton of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. “This image is hardly recognizable as Jupiter,” he said in a statement. NASA on Friday released a batch of close-up pictures  taken by the Juno spacecraft last week when it flew within 2,500 miles of Jupiter’s dense cloud tops. During the rendezvous that took Juno from pole to pole, the solar-powered spacecraft turned on its camera and instruments to collect data. A mysterious signal from space that researchers said was a strong indication of alien life in a star system 95 light years away was actually just coming from planet Earth. Red-faced eggheads at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence program on Wednesday clarified reports that the strong signal came from the Hercules solar system. Russian scientists had detected the signal coming from the direction of that system — but further analysis determined it likely came from Earth.

Mark Zuckerberg gave Pope Francis a present that is a high-tech gift for the masses.
