Facebook messages added to Obama’s daily reading material

People hoping to send a note to President Barack Obama can now contact the White House using Facebook Messenger, just as they would communicate with their friends.

The White House says Obama reads 10 letters every night and that they help keep him in touch with what’s happening around the country.

White House chief digital officer Jason Goldman says expanding the president’s reading material is meant to create opportunities for people to engage with their government in new and accessible ways.

Goldman says face-to-face time with the president may be more difficult than it was much earlier in the nation’s history, but technology now makes it possible for anyone with an internet connection to send a message to the president and the administration.

Apple’s iPhone has been my main cell phone ever since just after the first model was released back in 2007. To be honest, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. While it was a bit rough around the edges in the early days, Android has grown into a refined and stable mobile platform. It also continues to be more versatile than  iOS  will ever be, and Android phone makers have come out with some gorgeous hardware that matches or even bests Apple’s iPhones in many ways .  But iOS still offers a user experience and a third-party app ecosystem that are both vastly superior to Android in my opinion, and the hardware isn’t half bad either — especially with the new and improved iPhone 7 on the horizon. Hillary refuses to take neurocognitive test

Hillary Clinton won’t be taking a neurocognitive test, and releasing the results to the public — telling a reporter “there’s no need for that,” even after collapsing as she was leaving a 9/11 memorial event last week in Manhattan.
